Tips to Buying a Kenwood Car Audio system

Last week, I needed to borrow a friends truck. It surprised me when I saw a beautiful Kenwood stereo unit hooked up. It appeared to me that many people would be happy with the regular stereo contained in nearly all vehicles today.

I have to admit that right after playing the Kenwood unit for a couple of minutes, I could truthfully quickly start to see the benefit of replacing a new car’s sound system with a decent replacement system. The Kenwood receiver is stunning and looks good in the dash. When driving through the night it almost makes you pull over simply to appreciate the lighting.

The times of replacing one cd to another are gone. This source unit is capable of playing single CD’s but in addition features a USB connection. The USB is a plus mainly because it allows you to play your own iPod or iPhone right through your car audio system. This is a plus on extended drives when you do not want to be trying to find your favorite CD’s.

My buddy had also changed out the common door speakers with new Focal car audio speakers. The speakers generate a vast improvement over any stock vehicle speakers. In recent times many vehicles are coming with speakers that are a vast improvement over the old days but none of them can match the sound quality of these elements.

Needless to say in many instances you have to use independent power amps to push these kinds of speakers. The JVC amplifier does a fantastic job and doesn’t occupy much room whatsoever. If you enjoy good sounding music, the sacrifice of a little space in the trunk for your amps are worth while.

An execllent option is the subwoofer. When somebody brings up a subwoofer you may think about the massive subwoofer enclosures which will tend to vibrate your neighbor’s windows. In reality, adding a little eight inch subwoofer or amplified sub is perhaps all you’ll want to give your sound system that rich sound you can get in home audio. But when considering upgrading any standard vehicle audio system you cannot go wrong by checking out a kenwood stereo.
