Does the Size of a Laptop Really Matter?

The question in notebook computers has become, “Does size really matter or is it more important to have a computing machine that allows you to fit every piece of software and save as many movies as will fit on your productivity machine?” Another point of concern may be whether the smaller dimensions are more valuable or if the light-weight portability is the focal matter. I think the accessibility of different types of laptops now lets us genuinely personalize our computers into something that works for us today and doesn’t always have to be generic for the world.

The production release of the cutting edge macbookair by Apple has really given us a selection with the size and what kind of mobile computer we drag around with us daily. At less than 3 pounds and wafer thin, we don’t have to get a workout every time we walk to work. It has a 13 inch flat panel and a standard-size keyboard. Who wouldn’t be interested? This is the very feature I have been looking for.

When I first previewed the advert for the MacBook Air with a slim, easy to transport laptop coming out of that envelope, I was just shocked. Now, that’s the solution I’ve been searching for. Now it doesn’t have to be a modern micracle to take my portable computer with me any longer! No extra bag that can weigh nearly as much as the laptop computer, no more grimacing, no longer taking up more room than my suitcase! What a happy day!

The age old question of whether size is important is here now and my answer, when it comes to a tiny computer is a reverberating, “yes, Yes, YES!” Size does matter as does weight. For me and my computer smaller is as good as it gets.
