If you’re not a hermit living somewhere in the mountains in a cave then you’ve heard of the Nintendo Wii. Even though it’s been hard to find during the Christmas holiday it is a top seller. It’s especially popular for young kids and older adults as it offers a way to get increased physical activity in addition to entertainment.
You think I’m kidding about getting your exercise? “How?”, you ask? Easy, the controllers are wireless and require you to move them around in order to make actions in the game happen. The games, such as Bowling, fighting and running that actually require you to make the same physical movements. It beats the heck out of sitting on the couch with only your fingers moving. I’m not kidding either. You really have to move the controller to play the game. There are more and more games available all the time as well as a solid core available today. The Wii FIT is another popular option that actually measures body fat and helps you with your balance.
Finding a cheap nintendo wii can be challenging. Like I said earlier, they are difficult to find even at full price.
